Dr. Igor Pesun is a leading authority in the field of dentistry, known for his expertise in restorative dentistry, dental materials, and prosthodontics. With a passion for advancing the field of dentistry, Dr. Pesun is dedicated to providing the highest level of care to his patients and is constantly seeking new and innovative ways to improve patient outcomes.
Dr. Pesun's research is focussed on evaluating treatment options for patients by mining the University of Manitoba's AxiUm Dental Management System. His research also focuses on the clinical evaluation of the short- and long-term outcome of treatments, including how implants improve patient outcomes. His research findings have been published in numerous scientific and clinical articles, and he serves as a reviewer for several national and international dental journals.

Biography
Dr. Igor Pesun is an associate professor at the Dr. Gerald Niznick College of Dentistry, where he holds a cross appointment in the Department of Diagnostic and Surgical Sciences, the Health Sciences Centre and CancerCare Manitoba. He is a board-certified prosthodontist in the USA and a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada in prosthodontics. He is also the chief examiner for prosthodontics for the Royal College of Dentists of Canada.
Dr. Pesun has extensive experience in the field of dentistry and has taught in all areas of restorative dentistry, dental materials, and prosthodontics at both the undergraduate and graduate level. He has also maintained a private prosthodontic practice, providing restorative, implant, and esthetic dentistry.
Dr. Pesun is active in clinical dental research and has published both scientific and clinical articles. He serves as a reviewer for a number of national and international dental journals. He has lectured to various groups locally, nationally, and internationally on clinical practice and educational methodologies.
As the Director of the Graduate Prosthodontic Program and a founding member of the Manitoba Dental Digital Asset Research Group, Dr. Pesun focuses on clinical evaluation of the short and long-term outcome of treatments, including how implants improve patient outcomes. He is currently evaluating treatment options for patients by mining the University of Manitoba's AxiUm Dental Management System.
