Dr. Haimeur is actively involved in the dental biomaterials research in the area of dental adhesion. She enjoys mentoring students in research related the longevity and clinical outcomes of adhesive procedures provided to patients by the dental students and residents at the University of Manitoba Dr. Gerald Niznick College of Dentistry.
Dr. Haimeur is also invested in studying the implication of digital technology in operative dentistry education.
Dr. Asmaa Haimeur is an assistant professor in the Division of Operative Dentistry, Department of Restorative Dentistry at the Dr. Gerald Niznick College of Dentistry, Rady Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Manitoba.
She received her DMD from the University of Montreal and her Master in Public Health from Lakeahead University.
Dr. Haimeur clinical activities have been concentrated in the area of Operative Dentistry and Public Health Dentistry where she has taught didactic, pre-clinical and clinical courses to students in second and third year of the DMD curriculum and mentored senior students during their external rotations.
