Current UM Students - Volunteer at Preparing for University
Calling all current UM students – we’re looking for friendly, enthusiastic students to provide small group campus tours for future students and families at our upcoming Preparing for University orientation event on Sunday, May 4. In addition to giving campus tours and showing visitors around the campus, we’re also looking for volunteers to help with meeting and greeting, taking students to presentations, and other tasks!
Meet new friends, enjoy a free lunch, enter to win great prizes, and help show future students what makes the university a great place to study! You’ll also earn volunteer service hours to put towards your Experience Record as an official UM student ambassador!
Sign up below to volunteer, event day shifts are from 11:30am-4:30pm on Sunday, May 4. New to volunteering? Attend a short volunteer interview so we can get to know you; all volunteers will also need to attend one event-specific training session prior to event day (training sessions will be held on April 30, May 1, and May 2). Again, all hours spent interviewing and training are counted towards your Experience Record.
Sign up to volunteer and we’ll also keep you informed of additional volunteer opportunities for future orientation events happening this summer and next September.
