Join us for the annual January Career Fair on Wednesday, January 22 (2:00 - 6:00 p.m.) and Thursday, January 23 (9:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.), 2025 co-hosted by the UM Career, Community and Experiential Learning Centre and the Asper Career Development Centre at the University of Manitoba.

Registration details
Only the registered exhibitor may occupy the booth and organizations may only register one booth. Booth placement will be based on support level, date of registration and at the discretion of the UM Career Fair team. All 2025 UM Career Fair Platinum, Gold and Silver Supporters will have preferred placement. Educational institutions are welcome to register for day-1 of the fair and space permitting, following the early bird deadline, will be provided space for day-2 if requested. The Early Bird deadline is Wednesday, December 4, 2024.
We encourage all organizations to register early as space is limited and waitlists were made the past two years.

CLASSIC registration package includes:
- One - 10'x 6' booth with curtain back and sides
- One - 6' × 2.5' skirted table and two chairs
- Two organizational representatives and materials for them, including: Hot dinner on Tuesday; Hot breakfast and light lunch on Wednesday.

Classic registration is for: Private Companies, Government and Gov. Organizations/agencies/crown corps, post-secondary etc.
Non-Profit registration is for: Recognized Charities, NPO's, etc.
All non-profit registrants are required to provide proof of NPO status.

*** If your organization is GST exempt, please provide your GST number when you register. We will also ask for proof of your GST exemption status for our records in your confirmation email. This is typically in the form of a letter on organizational letter head or a government statement listing your GST exemption number.
Confirmation and payment
Exhibitors will receive an email confirmation once their registration has been approved. Invoices will be issued in January 2025, after the fair, via email. Payment will be due upon receipt.
Cancellation Deadline: 4:30 PM (CST) on Wednesday, December 18, 2024. Cancellations received on or before this date and time will be charged a $125.00 cancellation fee. Cancellations received after this date and time will be charged in full.
NOTE: Any organization that registers after the cancellation deadline will be charged in full, irrespective of any cancellations received.
Certificate of insurance
Within two weeks of your registration approval, you must provide a Certificate of Insurance (COI) evidencing Comprehensive General Liability Insurance including the following:
- Not less than $2,000,000.00 ($2 Million)
- With the University of Manitoba added as an "Additional Insured" with respect to liability arising out of the operations of the exhibitor
- The insurance policy should also include a cross-liability clause
This can be obtained through your insurance broker. The COl can be emailed to jan.careerfair@umanitoba.ca. Your participation and placement cannot be guaranteed without this policy.
