Biography

Yvanne Caballero (BBA, CWS, IEWP) is a passion, people, and purpose-driven career development professional with over 10 years of career education and program management experience. As a Co-operative Education Coordinator, she works in collaboration with business and community partners in assisting students with enhancing their career development skills (such as career planning, goal setting, labour market knowledge, resume and cover letter development, job search strategies, interview preparation, etc.).

In addition to a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing, Human Resources and Organizational Behaviour (University of Winnipeg), she is also a certified Work-Life Strategist (Career Professionals of Canada) and certified International Event and Wedding Planning Professional (QC Career School).

As a committed lifelong learner, Yvanne holds memberships with the Career Professionals of Canada, CEWIL Canada and MACD (2022-24 board member). In 2012, Yvanne was awarded a Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee medal for her contributions in the areas of youth and community engagement, making her one of the youngest in Manitoba to have received this recognition. Yvanne finds joy and purpose in empowering others through education, personal development, and community involvement so that they can rise to new levels and lead fulfilling and balanced lives. Besides her work in career development, Yvanne is heavily involved in the performing arts as a vocal coach, singer and songwriter.
