Overview: Nazanin Khaksari is a PhD candidate in Marketing at the University of Manitoba, specializing in consumer behavior. Her research focuses on the role of stigma in shaping consumer perceptions and behaviors, particularly in emerging and ethically complex markets. She explores topics such as the stigma surrounding cannabis use in service settings, the gendered dimensions of sustainable consumption, and the impact of emerging technologies like blockchain on privacy concerns in marketing. Her work has been presented at leading conferences including the American Marketing Association (AMA), Frontiers in Service, ISMS Marketing Science Conference, and the Administrative Sciences Association of Canada (ASAC).
