Larissa is the Research Lead for the Future Skills funded project, "Bridging the Gender Gap" with Principal Investigator, Suzanne Gagnon. They are studying skills, barriers, and enablers related to the advancement of women into executive leadership in corporate Canada.
Larissa holds an MBA in Sustainability and Public Enterprise, a B.A. Hons in International Development, a B.Sc. in Biology, and has 20+ years experience in the non-profit sector. She is trained in anti-racism and inclusion, conflict resolution, project management, and GBA+. She has also been awarded PROSCI Change Management Certification as well as a Blue Belt in Innovation Engineering.
With passions for environmental justice, anti-racism, and women's empowerment, Larissa has the skills to support behavioural and organizational change using an intersectional and decolonial lens. She currently sits on the Board of Directors for Athena Leadership, the Advisory Committee for Indigenous Parents Community, and the Steering Committee for Fair Trade Winnipeg. Larissa identifies as a cis-gender female, first-generation Canadian, and person of colour (pronouns: she/her/elle).
