Karen D. Schwartz, Ph.D. is a social sciences and humanities research facilitator at the University of Manitoba and affiliated with the I.H. Asper School of Business. She with university faculty members who wish to apply for research funding from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council, and other public and private funders.
She is available to work with researchers in a variety of contexts including:
Karen holds a Ph.D. in Education from the University of Manitoba. She also holds a Master of Arts degree in Disability Studies, a Bachelor of Laws degree, and a Bachelor of Arts in history. She was a senior researcher at a national not-for-profit organization where she worked on projects funded by the Canadian International Development Agency, the International Development Research Centre, and Human Resources and Skills Development Canada. During her time as a graduate student, she was a research assistant on projects funded by the Tri-Agencies, private donors and the provincial government.
