Deepika Kalluri is an accomplished engineering professional with a master’s degree in electrical engineering and a deep-rooted passion for mentoring and guiding students in their academic and personal journeys.
As a Co-operative Education Coordinator at the Asper School of Business, Deepika supports students throughout their Co-op journey, specifically in their professional development. She advises on program requirements, job search strategies, and workplace readiness. She puts in efforts to develop tailored career modules and coach students in resume preparation, application processes, and interview techniques, empowering students from diverse backgrounds to reach their potential.
Deepika brings a wealth of experience from her previous roles, where she has guided numerous student projects and mentored students on both academic and personal challenges, helping them develop into confident and capable professionals. Her commitment to student advising extends beyond her primary role. Volunteering as the Secretary of IEEE Winnipeg Section and Vice President Membership at Toastmasters International, she actively contributes to her community by leading initiatives that promote professional and communication skill development.
Outside of her professional and volunteer roles, Deepika enjoys exploring various forms of art, particularly Bharatanatyam, and finds joy in travel, music, and diving into the world of Harry Potter.
