Louis Liu

Biography

Mr. Liu oversees business development for the James W. Burns Executive Education Centre at the Asper School of Business.

Prior to joining the Asper School of Business, Mr. Liu led Sales & Marketing team at Talent Master, served as Manager of Capital Management at IGM Financial, and as Business Analyst at Manitoba Public Insurance. He has over 13 years of professional experience in business analytics, finance, and sales in the insurance, banking, and financial service industry.

Mr. Liu holds a Bachelor of Commerce (honours) degree from Asper School of Business and a Master of Finance degree from Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto. Mr. Liu is a CFA®charterholder and a member of the CFA Winnipeg Society. He has also earned Derivative Market Specialist designation from Canadian Securities Institute.

As a firm believer in lifelong learning, Mr. Liu believes that education is the driver for self-development. He is passionate about building leadership and entrepreneurship in helping others to succeed.

Coming from a multicultural background, Mr. Liu dedicates himself to a vibrant and inclusive community at the Asper School of Business. He is also bilingual in both Mandarin and English.
