Wenxi Pu is an Assistant Professor in Management Information Systems at the Department of Accounting and Finance. He earned his PhD from Clemson University. His research aims to investigate how Information Technologies (IT) facilitate the way individuals reinforce their sense of self and identities, both actively and passively, as well as how the self and identities (especially stigmatized ones) presented on social media (such as Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn) impact organizational personnel selection outcomes. His work has been published on Communications of the Association for Information Systems. He teaches in the area of Management Information Systems.
