Wei's research program takes a mix-method approach to study the dynamics of leadership and ethics at work. Wei is the 2019 Society of Business Ethics Emerging Scholar and has published in leading outlets such as Journal of Applied Psychology and Journal of Management. He is also honoured to receive the 2022 Anne Tsui Dare to Care Research Award, which recognizes research that seeks to make a difference in the lives of employees. Growing up in a family of educators, Wei is passionate about teaching and loves to see students thrive in his classes. When Wei is not doing research or teaching, he enjoys outdoor activities, long slow distance running, and travelling.
