Research

Research interests

Dr. Badreldin's research focuses on the development of computational technology and data analytics in agriculture and the environment to provide useful information that best benefits farmers, decision-makers, agribusiness, and the scientific community. Research interests are focused on:

• Crop yield prediction using space-borne sensors
• Multi-scale data analysis in plant phenotyping
• Applications of proximal soil sensing in soil conservation and crop production
• Monitoring and assessing landscape dynamics at various spatiotemporal scales
• Modeling physical and chemical soil properties using artificial intelligence and remote sensing technology
