Dr. Hammond's research interests are in exercise and physical therapy in the management of all causes of peripheral neuropathy and neuropathic pain and the role for physical therapy. She believes strongly in the importance of being active for disease prevention and recovery.
Dr. Hammond is a physiotherapist and faculty member in the physical therapy program at the College of Rehabilitation Sciences. She has worked in a wide variety of clinical settings including inpatient, outpatient services and private practice. Her primary interest is in rehabilitation of the hand and upper extremity.
