Getting started
Use your University of Manitoba login credentials on every eduroam network, regardless of where you are.
To connect to eduroam (UM students, staff and faculty):
- Ensure your wireless is active.
- Select eduroam from the available Wi-Fi networks.
- Next, enter your University of Manitoba email address and password to connect to the network:
- Staff and Faculty email format - firstname.lastname@umanitoba.ca
- Student email format - UMNetID@myumanitoba.ca
The local eduroam network at University of Manitoba will only work for visiting guests. The home institution provides technical support for eduroam - contact the IST Service Desk for technical assistance.
For a list of participating institutions where you can roam campus Wi-Fi networks via eduroam, visit eduroam (Canada) and eduroam (Global).
