Member Speak: Dr. Geoffrey K. Tranmer is a Professor in the College of Pharmacy at the University of Manitoba, and also serves as an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Chemistry. With a PhD in Organic Chemistry and experience at renowned institutions like Princeton and Cambridge, he specializes in drug discovery and molecular design. His research focuses on creating innovative synthetic methods and therapeutic solutions that enhance health outcomes. Before academia, he contributed to pharmaceutical innovation at Merck Frosst Canada Ltd. Passionate about mentorship, Dr. Tranmer is dedicated to inspiring the next generation of scientists and innovators. His work bridges chemistry and healthcare, driving meaningful impact in the community.
