Biography
Dr. Sandor Demeter is an associate professor in the College of Community and Global Health at the University of Manitoba.
Dr. Sandor’s career includes a decade in public health and two decades in clinical nuclear medicine.
He has held several senior medical and academic administrative positions and is currently a staff nuclear medicine physician with Shared Health.
He is a former commission member of the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission, a former committee member with the International Commission on Radiological Protection (Protection in Medicine Committee), and a member of the Canadian Agency for Drugs and Technologies in Health’s Health Technology Expert Review Panel.
