CEL is hosting a Lunch and Learn series to share what we learned from Indigenous community partners about working in good ways with Indigenous communities. We’ll share principles of Indigenous community engagement that have been informed by two years of consultations with nearly 100 local and international Indigenous community members, and university faculty and staff.

Zoom in every other Thursday to:

  • Learn how to prepare yourself and others for engaging with Indigenous communities in a good way.

  • Learn new tools and approaches to critical reflection, relationship building, collaboration, assessment and advocacy.

  • Connect with other Community Engaged Learning practitioners at the UofM and become part of a Community of Practice.

This lunch and learn series is open to all students, staff and faculty who work (or want to work) with Indigenous communities.
