CCA & CCSC credits

Certified Crop Advisor (CCA) CEUs - 12.0

Information will be updated for MAC 2021 in the coming weeks.

Complete one of the two options below to claim your CEUs:

  1. Record validation codes for each session (displayed during breaks). Once the conference is complete, use this portal to claim your credits from the 2020 conference, using your unique registration username (email) and password provided in your conference confirmation email. The deadline for submitting the form to claim your credits is December 31, 2020.

  2. Download the Certified Crop Advisor App (in the App Store or on Google Play). Sign-in with your CCA credentials and scan the QR codes for each session (displayed during the breaks).

ABSTRACT

  • Submit in a Word Document
  • Use Calibri, 11 size font, 1 inch margins, single spacing
  • Include title, names and affiliations of authors and email of corresponding author
  • 100-200 words in length

BIOGRAPHY, PICTURE & TITLE

  • For use on MAC website and online program
  • Biography can be up to 100 words in length, following similar format as abstract
  • Picture should be headshot
  • Title needs to be approved by the Chair of the respective session

PRESENTATION SLIDES

  • For download by participants during the conference and for the proceedings
  • Use simple background and colour schemes
  • Use contrasting text and background
  • Use large font, limit text on each slide
  • Use simple tables, figures and graphs (all axis labelled!)

RECORDED VIDEO PRESENTATION

Although each speaker will present live during the conference via Zoom Webinar, the organizing committee requires all speakers to submit their presentation ahead of the conference in case of unforeseen technical problems with the live-stream. You can use Zoom web client to record your presentation (instructions here).

The Manitoba Agronomists Conference (MAC) to be held on Zoom on Wednesday, December 15th and Thursday, December 16th, 2021, is respectful of your privacy.  All personal information requested during registration or any other time is used only for the internal business and administration purposes of the MAC.  All personal information including names, billing addresses, and credit card information is regarded as highly confidential.  To ensure the protection of your privacy, all registration information is encrypted using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology.  The MAC does not knowingly solicit, trade, sell, or otherwise deliver any personal information to any third parties.  By providing the necessary information required in the registration process, you agree to receive information through electronic mail regarding future MAC news and conference updates.  If you prefer not to receive such updates, please contact our office at mbagconf@umanitoba.ca


 

Manitoba Agronomists' Conference 2021 Refund Policy:


Notification of cancellation must be received by email by 4:30pm on Friday, November 26, 2021 in order to receive a refund of a paid registration fee, less an administration fee of $50.00 CAD.  No refunds will be given after the cancellation due date.  Registrations may be transferred without an administration fee on or before 4:30pm on November 26, 2021.
