Start your first course sooner and get an edge. As a UM student who has been admitted for the Fall 2024 term, you have the opportunity to begin your studies in Summer Term by taking the sought-after first-year seminar course ARTS 1110 – Introduction to University.

Introduction to University (ARTS 1110)
- Classes will be held July 22 - August 22, 2024
- Classes will be held Mondays - Thursdays from 10:45 AM - 12:45 PM
- There will be no class held on Terry Fox Day (August 5)
What happens next?
Once we’ve processed your application, we’ll send an email confirming that you are registered for Summer University Advantage. This email will:
- be sent to your @myumanitoba.ca email
- arrive approximately ten business days after you have submitted your application
- include important information about your fees and your academic record
