Vote for a full-time University of Manitoba Support Staff member who will serve as an assessor to the Board of Governors. 

Online voting will be open from Friday, May 2, 2025 to 12:00 PM CT on Friday, May 16, 2025.

The position of Support Staff Assessor was created to enable the Board of Governors to benefit from a support staff perspective during its meetings.  The Assessor attends meetings of the Board and its Executive Committee and has the same rights and obligations a s a member of the Board and Executive Committee, except that an Assessor may not make or amend motions, or vote.  The Support Staff Assessor to the Board of Governors shall have a two (2) year term from June 1 to May 31.


The Assessor will be the nominee who receives the highest number of votes.  The Alternate Assessor will be the nominee who receives the second highest number of votes.

May 2, 2025           Voting Period Opens 

May 16, 2025         Voting Period Closes at 12:00 PM CT

May 23, 2025         Support Staff Assessor and Alternate Assessor are announced

June 1, 2025          Board of Governors Term Begins
