Terms and Conditions


Effective as of January 1, 2025

  • After at least two consecutive months of active membership, cancellation requests are processed with a minimum two-month notice.
  • Members must commit to at least four months before membership is completed.
  • Exceptions (e.g., medical, moving, change in employment) may be approved by the Director with appropriate documentation.
  • Note: Not applicable for four-month memberships unless otherwise approved.
  • This policy applies to both Payroll Deduction and Payment Plan memberships.

Payroll Deduction Memberships

  • Deductions continue for two months after the request is processed.
  • If a UM employee cancels, associated spouse/dependent memberships will also end after the notice period.

Payment Plan Memberships

  • Members must pay the final two months of their plan upfront upon cancellation.

Credits generated from the cancellation are valid for one year from the cancellation date and can be used to register for any other sports and recreation programs or services. Credits can be transferred among immediate family members.
