  • Early Bird registration deadline: Monday, January 4, 2021
  • Tax not included - 5% GST will be applied to all fees
  • Classic registration is for: Private Companies, Gov. Organizations, etc.
  • Non-Profit registration is for: Recognized Charities, NPO's, etc.
    • All non-profit registrants are required to provide proof of NPO status for the purpose of invoicing

Registration levels and package descriptions

CLASSIC registration includes One Virtual booth with the following features:
  • Group Sessions: Option for employers to communicate with participants in a in a group format
  • Private Sessions: Option for employers to communicate in private chat windows for more personalized interaction
  • Video Chat Sessions: No special equipment is required, only built-in or attachable cameras on a desktop or laptop are needed for broadcast to room & one-to-one video chatting; Google Chrome or Firefox are required browsers for using multi-media functionality
  • Screen share presentation capability to conduct online presentations to the attendees
  • Organizations’ representatives can have multiple chats, both private and public simultaneously; organizations are provided with unlimited number of user logins
  • Attendees enter multiple chat rooms based on their interest and navigate seamlessly to each chat room at their convenience, interactive chatting available on all devices and browsers
  • Highlight Hours available: Employers can select hours they will be available during fair times

Proof of NPO Status

You selected NPO as your registration level. As a NPO, we are required to collect proof of your status for billing purposes. This is typically a formal letter identifying your status on organizaitonal letterhead or screen shots of this being identitfied on your website.

Is your organization GST exempt? If so, your exemption number will be rquired below and supporting documents upon receipt of your confirmation email.

You identified your organization as GST exempt. We are required to collect proof of your GST exemption for billing purposes. This is typically a formal letter identifying your GST number and explining your exemption on organizaitonal letterhead or a letter from the federal government identifying this.

Confirmation, payment and cancellation details

  • Registration may be submitted through this form, online only.
  • Confirmation of registration will be sent via email once approved within 2-3 business days from jan.careerfair@umanitoba.ca.
  • Invoices be issued via email in January 2021 and payment is due upon receipt
  • Cancellation deadline: 4:30 PM (CST) on Monday, January 4, 2021.
    • All cancellations received on or before 4:30 PM (CST) Monday, January 4, 2021 will be charged a $125.00 cancellation fee.
    • Cancellations received after 4:30 PM (CST) on Monday, January 4, 2020 will be charged in full.
    • Any organization that registers after the cancellation deadline will be charged in full, irrespective of any cancellations received.

Certificate of Insurance

Within two weeks of your registration approval, exhibitors must provide a Certificate of Insurance (COI) that is valid for the duration of  the event,  evidencing the following:
  1. Comprehensive General Liability Insurance of not less than $2,000,000 (Two Million) per incident with an insurer, including coverage for bodily injury (including death) to any person, as well as the loss of or damage to any property, with respect to liability arising out of the operations of the exhibitor.
  2. With the University of Manitoba added as an "Additional Insured" with respect to liability arising out of the operations of the exhibitor
  3. The insurance policy shall also include a cross-liability clause
This can be obtained through your insurance broker. The COI can be scanned and sent to jan.careerfair@umanitoba.ca
Your participation cannot be guaranteed without this policy.
This is required for virtual and in-person career fairs.

Online Submission

When you have completed this form, press the "Submit" button. Exhibitors will receive an automated email from the system. A Confirmation of Registration email will be sent from jan.careerfair@umanitoba.ca within 2-3 business days.
The confirmation of registration is not your invoice, it is simply a summary of what we received as your registration. If there are any discrepencies between your confirmation of registration email and what you intended to select for registration, please reply to the email as soon as possible.
