Research Chairs
The University
of Manitoba currently holds 44 Canada Research Chairs. Chairholders are research
leaders or rising stars in natural sciences and engineering, health sciences,
social sciences and humanities.
The Canada Research
Chairs Program has allocated 47 chairs to the University of Manitoba. The total
number of chairs is based on a three year average of federal grant agency funding.
