The University of Manitoba Faculty Association (UMFA) represents approximately 1,200 full-time professors, lecturers, instructors, and academic librarians. Faculty are at the core of the University's work in teaching, discovery and outreach.

On September 8, 2017 the University of Manitoba Faculty Association (UMFA) ratified the four-year collective agreement that will remain in place until March 31, 2021.
