The conference hotel

The Inn at the Forks is located on the eastern edge of downtown Winnipeg, flanked by the Canadian Museum for Human Rights and The Forks, at the confluence of the Red and Assiniboine rivers.

fter that date the conference contingent of rooms will be opened to the public and the conference rate will no longer be available.

Room Rates (for up to 2 guests; taxes not included)

Standard Queen Room = $154.00 per night

Superior King Room = $159.00 per night

Deluxe King Room = $164.00 per night

Each additional person (more than 2) sharing a guestroom is $20.00 per night.

All rates include high speed wired and wireless internet

Note, the space in the conference hotel is limited so book your room early, if possible.

Sharing accommodation

The conference organizers will offer a service for sharing rooms in the conference hotel.

If you interested in sharing a room in the conference hotel, please send us an email at conflictsatrocities2012@umanitoba.ca 
Once we have 2 matching requests, we will provide each party with contact information for the other; room reservations can then be co-ordinated amongst the parties themselves.

Other accommodations

Though less conveniently located for participating in the conference, there are plenty of other accommodations within a 1 kilometer radius of the Forks in downtown Winnipeg.  Keep in mind that all events on Friday and Saturday (including the banquet) will be at the Inn at Forks, which is also the shuttle stop to and from the University of Manitoba on Thursday evening.
