(3.0) FORTRAN Numerical Libraries are a collection of user-callable advanced numerical FORTRAN subroutines for scientists, engineers, and mathematicians.
The IMSL FORTRAN numerical libraries consist of:
subroutines for mathematics
subroutines for statistical analysis
online interactive documentation(on most environments)
The latest Online Documentations of IMSL® Numerical Libraries can be found at http://www.vni.com/books/docs
To use the IMSL library follow following steps:
(or ". /usr/local/imsl/ipt/bin/iptsetup.sh" for Bourne or Korn shell)
- Using a normal plain text editor to create a Fortran program. For example, we call the Fortran program XXX.f.
-o "your_object_file" XXX.f
