How to Set a Reminder for Existing Meetings in Exchange Calendar Using Entourage 2008 for a Macintosh

Change the Reminder Time for a Single Meeting

1. Open Entourage 2008 for a Macintosh.

2. Click on the Calendar tab on the top of the screen.

3. Double-click on the desired meeting that you wish set a reminder for.

4. Click the check box next to Reminder and set the amount of time prior to the event you wish for the Reminder to occur.

Change the Reminder Time Default

1. Change the default time for the reminder by clicking Entourage in the top left corner of your screen, clicking Preferences, and selecting Calendar.

2. Change the information in the Reminders section.

3. When it is time for the Reminder to appear, it will do so in a My Day window in the lower right corner of the screen.

4. You will have the option to click either the Snooze or Dismiss button. You can also click the Calendar icon in the top left of the My Day window to view the Event. Clicking Snooze will set the reminder to occur again later. Clicking Dismiss will not remove the check from the Reminder option in the Event window, but Entourage will not remind you of this Event again.
