Medical Admissions
 Applying to Medical School  

 

The first letters of offer will be sent on May 15, 2013.  On May 31, 2013, second letters of offer, waitlist offers and letters to not admitted applicants will be sent.  If you do not receive any letter by email after May 31, 2013, please contact us at admissions@med.umanitoba.ca.  If you wish to appeal the decision, please submit your request with the reason for appeal, in writing, to the Medicine Admissions Office at admissions@med.umanitoba.ca.  Your appeal letter must be submitted within 10 business days of receiving your email.

If you receive a letter of offer, you will have 5 business days to respond.  A signed copy of the acceptance letter and a $500 deposit is due.  If you wish to decline the offer, you must also send back the signed form declaring your decline.  If you wish to request a deferral, you must still submit your acceptance and in addition provide a letter citing reasons for your request.  Deferrals will be considered on a first come first served basis.

The application for the 2014 - 2015 application cycle will be available in late August.  The updated Applicant Information Bulletin will be posted as soon as it is available.
