A 52 year old male presents to you with a sudden loss of vision out of the top portion of his right eye (OD). There was no pain associated with his visual loss.
On examination, his visual acuity was 20/20 bilaterally with his glasses. Confrontation visual field testing revealed a defect superiorly OD. Pupils were equal in size and symmetrically reactive to light. Funduscopy appeared normal OS and had the following appearance OD:
