Research Tools: Concept Dictionary

The Concept Dictionary describes over 200 research concepts developed at MCHP for analysing data contained in the Data Repository housed at MCHP. These detailed operational definitions of variables or measures used in MCHP research include a discussion of the issue(s) involved, approaches used, programming tips/cautions, SAS code (where not restricted for internal use), additional readings, and references.

Concept Development

A number of concepts are always under development at MCHP in varying stages prior to public release. For an advance look at upcoming releases, a list of concepts in progress is maintained and updated regularly:

• Concepts in Progress - For each concept, the listing contains the broad subject area that the concept belongs to, the title of the concept, and the type of work that is being done. The latter is categorized as 1) new or 2) modify (for modifications or enhancements to an existing concept).
