    Students in the Asper Bachelor of Commerce program can major in one or two disciplines from the majors listed below, allowing you to select the areas of business that most interest you. Students typically choose majors at the beginning of their third year. Learn more about the requirements and benefits for each major by exploring the links below.

New curriculum 

The new curriculum embraces interdisciplinarity and ethics. New courses, including Indigenous Business, Sustainability, Project Management and Writing for Business, provide students with critical knowledge and practical skills to succeed in business.

Two new pages have been created to help you navigate the new curriculum. A FAQ page has been developed to help answer questions for current and incoming students. As well, the page about the majors and required courses will help you plan your courses schedule. Please check page regularly for updates.

Minors in business for non-business majors

Leadership for Business and Organizations Minor


Created by the James W. Burns Leadership Institute and offered by the Asper School of Business, the Leadership for Business and Organizations Minor has been uniquely designed as a solution for non-business students interested in developing their leadership knowledge and capabilities.

Management Minor for Non-Business Students


The Management Minor for Non-Business students consists of any 18 hours of credit in courses offered by the Asper School of Business. Entrance requirements and enrolment limits vary with a student’s faculty of registration. 
 

Graduate programs - Stu Clark Graduate School

In 2019, esteemed Asper School of Business alumnus and entrepreneur, Stu Clark, donated $10 million to the Asper School of Business to establish the Stu Clark Graduate School, home to the Asper MBA, MFin, MSCM, MSc and PhD programs.
