UPDATE: We have had a tremendous response to our call for abstracts with over 60 submissions received so far. In light of this success and in the hope of encouraging further participation by our community, the organizers have decided to allow abstracts submission until May 1st, 2017.
The Scientific Committee welcomes the submission of abstracts of original contributions to the Symposium. Abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee and may be selected for poster presentation. Abstracts should be submitted in English and sent to the Scientific Secretariat – From November 15, 2016 to March 15, 2017. Abstract body, excluding the title, authors and affiliations, should include maximum 2,000 characters (including spaces) and be sent in MS Word format. Abstracts will be peer reviewed and notification of acceptance will be sent to corresponding authors before March 31, 2017.
Masao Ito Prize for Best Poster Presentation by a Young Scientist
The Masao Ito Prize will be awarded to the top 3 posters presented by young scientists at the 8th International Symposium, held in Winnipeg (Canada) May 24-26, 2017. The poster prizes are awarded annually in honour of Professor Masao Ito for his immense contribution to cerebellar research.
Kids Brain Health Network Young Investigator Awards
The Kids Brain Health Network has kindly agreed to provide two travel awards, for up to $1,000 each, to help trainees attend the 8th International Symposium of the SRCA. Eligibility criteria and application procedures will be announced shortly. In addition, trainees supported by the Kids Brain Health Network are eligible for up to $500 to attend the 8th International Symposium of the SRCA.
