Jennifer Dengate completed both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Sociology in 2007 and 2008 at UM before completing her PhD at UBC in 2017. Jennifer returned to UM for a post-doctoral fellowship, with a focus on gender, EDI, and the workplace experiences of natural sciences and engineering professors. Valuable experience was gained in her role as Director of the Centre for Social Science Research and Policy in the Faculty of Arts, specializing in survey design and qualitative data collection and analysis.

Amy Zhang joined the University of Manitoba in 2022. A graduate of Beijing Normal University (Finance and Applied Psychology), Amy also holds a Business Administration Diploma from Red River College. She has extensive work experience and community involvement in the Winnipeg non-profit sector, including ethnocultural organizations and immigration services.
