Milestone anniversaries

On July 1, 2012, the Centre on Aging will officially recognize its 30th anniversary. To commemorate this event as being one of two longest standing aging research centres in Canada, the Centre is celebrating throughout the year with a series of events.

At the 29th Spring Research Symposium held on May 7, 2012, Dr. Alexander Segall gave welcoming remarks in recognition of the Centre's 30th anniversary.

This milestone event was celebrated with an anniversary cake during the afternoon coffee break.

Centre on Aging Director, Dr. Verena Menec, helped with the festivities by cutting the cake.
