Applicants must submit the Faculty of Graduate Studies application form and application fee online. The online application system accepts Visa or MasterCard. To submit your application form and fee payment and upload the required documents from the checklist above, please select the applicable Apply link on the Faculty of Graduate Studies website to start your application.

Application Fee: $100 CAD

Please note that the application fee can be paid via the following methods: Visa and Mastercard (via the online application system,) money order, bank draft, or cheque. We are unable to accept cash for application fee payments. In order for the University of Manitoba to process a money order, bank draft, or cheque, the following must be included on the payment document:

  1. The Money order, bank draft or cheque must be MICR encoded with the cheque number, transit number (usually 8 digits) and account number. MICR encoding is the preprinted numbers on the bottom left hand side of the money order, bank draft, or cheque draft
  2. If the fee is not MICR encoded, the transit number and the account number must be provided on the payment by the bank.

If the fee payment is not acceptable, it will be returned to the applicant. Applications will not be processed until an acceptable fee payment is received.

3. If you are admitted

You will be required to submit the following documents in official hard copy (if not already submitted in hard copy at the time of your application):

  • Your official transcripts, in sealed envelopes sent directly from your previous school(s)
  • Your official degree certificates
  • English Language Test Score, if applicable

Program entry occurs in early August once annually. MARCH 1 for International Students Applicants. MAY 1 for Domestic Students Applicants (including Permanent Residents).


As of April 2, 2020, ETS is pleased to announce expanded availability of at home testing for the GRE® General Test and the TOEFL iBT® test. These tests are now available in all locations where the computer-delivered tests are normally available.

As of April 14, 2020, registration is open for the GMAT Online exam, an interim alternative to the test center GMAT exam. Appointments are available for test dates as early as April 20, 2020 and extend through December 31, 2020. Graduate Management Admission Council will continue to evaluate the market and offer future appointments as needed.
