Eligibility Criteria for the Access Program

Please use this checklist to assess your eligibility for the Access Program:

1) You must be a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident of Canada (*)

2) You must reside in Manitoba during the academic year (*)

3) You must be admissible to the UM as a regular university entrance student or as a mature learner (*)

4) You have completed no more than 24 credit hours of university or community college credits (*)

Applicant Category

The Access Program provides supports to Manitoba residents who have experienced barriers to post-secondary education. Preference is given to low-income students, northern Manitoba residents, Canadian Indigenous students, and newcomer students. Please identify the category (or categories) under which you wish to apply:
