To-Do List for Bison Athletes
Complete the Online Registration Tutorials (new students only).
The Online Registration Tutorials will teach you how to use the Aurora Student Registration System.
Get a parking pass.
Register & pay for a pass by July 19, 2013. See Parking Services website for more details. 
Choose your courses and make a timetable.
The First Year Planning Guide tells you which courses you need to qualify for admission to your target faculty. Your coach will give you your team schedule, which will assist you in planning your timetable. We encourage you to consider ARTS 1110, Introduction to University.
Meet with a U1 Bison+ academic advisor before July 5 for program planning and registration approval.
Call 204 474 7342 to make an appointment with Shayla or Kathy. The advisor will review your schedule to ensure you are complying with CIS eligibility requirements and meeting the entrance requirements to your target faculty.
Register for courses on or after your initial access time which begins July 10, 2013 at 9:00 am.
U1 academic advisors will be in attendance at 188 Extended Education Building from 8:45 am to 3:00 pm on July 10 to assist eligible student athletes with early registration. Student athletes are given an early registration time, so take advantage of this opportunity. If you cannot attend, call 204 474 7342 for registration assistance
Get your U of M Photo ID at the Registrar’s Office, 400 University Centre.
You will need it to use the libraries, fitness facilities, and to write exams.
Pay for classes.
Fall Term fee payment deadline is September 4, 2013.
Get a book list through Aurora Student.
Check out the U of M Bookstore in University Centre and Archives Used Books in the Helen Glass Centre.
Attend Orientation September 3 & 4, 2013.
You will receive Orientation homeroom information by mail in mid-August.
Start classes on September 5, 2013.
Activate your U of M Computer Account.
The university will use only your U of M email account for official communication.
Opt out of the UMSU Health Plan by early September if you have coverage from another source.
