Auditing Students

Entering our university as an auditing student allows you to complete courses for personal interest with no examinations or assignments. No credits are granted for these courses and if you later decide to take courses for credit, you will have to re-apply for admission.

Application Process
If you would like to audit a course(s) and are not currently enrolled in a university program, you need to apply to General Studies (Extended Education) and include the required documents listed below.

If you are currently enrolled in a university program, you must receive and submit written permission from the instructor before registering to audit any courses.

Required Documents
Written permission from the instructor is required for each course.
Recommendation: Obtain written permission from the professor prior to application.

Course Fees
Students registered for courses as an auditing student will be charged fees of one-half the associated credit course fees.
