Memorial University

Yanqing started her graduate studies in Department of Statistics at University of Manitoba in 2002. She graduated in 2008 with a Ph.D. Degree in statistics and then joined Memorial University of Newfoundland. She currently is an Associate Professor of Biostatistics in Faculty of Medicine at Memorial University of Newfoundland.

Yanqing acknowledges the excellent teaching and strong support from her supervisor, the professors and staffs in the Department of Statistics at University of Manitoba. The courses and research she had completed during her studies in the department enriched her mind with statistical knowledge and equipped her with statistical skills. Those knowledge and skills have been helping her to build her career toward successes.

statistical design and analysis for clinical trials, dependent data analysis, survival data analysis, stochastic modeling and Markov processes, statistical modeling and computation for complex data
