Biography

Dave has a combination of industry work experience and academic know-how for information technology. He has a B.Sc. in Applied Mathematics from the University of Manitoba. Dave worked at a small IT company doing web system development and system administration for several years before returning to university in 2002. Between 2002 and 2008, he was a “professional” student, teaching assistant and instructor, before joining the Department of Statistics in 2008. His interests include scientific and high-performance computing, reading, and keeping tropical fish.
