I want to be involved in the UMVP:

With a new year comes the relaunch of UMVP! We are now accepting applications for new volunteers for 2015. Want to apply?  Keep on reading for details on how to get involved. We hope to welcome you to the program!

Step 1 – Apply

You can apply by logging onto UMCommunityLINK (every U of M student has an account that can be accesed with your UMNetID) from there you can search "Student Life" and find the new volunteer application under the tab marked "Forms". We will be in touch to let you know when you can sign up for an interview.

Step 2 – Sign up and go to your interview

Interviews are held on a monthly basis, when you receive our invitation to a group interview, there will be a link for you to sign up for you preferred time.

Timeslots are provided on a first-come first-serve basis. Sign up quickly to get your spot.

NB: Also be early for your interview. We highly value punctuality.

Step 3 – Accept our offer, onboard yourself, and then join the roster

If you receive our offer you need to fill out the onboarding form with your onboarding ca. This is how we know that you’ve accepted the position. This information will help us to provide you a more meaningful experience for you.

After you onboard, we will send you an invitation to join the roster. This step is important because that is how you officially join the group and have access to sign up for opportunities.
