The University of Manitoba has introduced a lab fee for all course sections that include a laboratory component. Three types of lab sections have been identified:

• Wet/Bench Labs and Language Labs will be assessed a fee of $30.00 per term for sections that are 3 to 5 credit hours.
• Dry Labs /Tutorials will be assessed a fee of $25.00 per term for sections that are 3 to 5 credit hours.

Lab Fees are in the process of being set up on applicable course sections. If the fee is in place at the time of registration you will be assessed immediately. Please check your fee statement prior to the fee payment deadline for any Lab Fees that may have been assessed after you had registered.

Note that Lab Fees are refundable only up to the Revision Deadline for the applicable term.

If a Lab Fee has been applied it will appear under the heading:  Base Fees (other charges may apply).
