The following is a list of organizations which offer scholarships and awards that may be of interest to current and entering University of Manitoba undergraduate and graduate students. Awards with upcoming deadlines will be noted; students are encouraged however, to search for scholarship opportunities year-round.

Business Council of Manitoba Aboriginal Education Awards - The Business Council of Manitoba is committed to helping Aboriginal students attend university or community college. We believe that education is an important component in their personal development and greatly improves their opportunities. Annual Application Deadline: March 31.
Corporate Finance Institute Annual Scholarships - These scholarships ($500) are available for Canadian business school students enrolled in a degree program. For more information and applications please click on the link above. Deadline: December 31, annually.
Canadian and International Scholarship Programs (Foreign Affairs and Int'l Trade Canada) - Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development Canada (DFATD) is responsible for the Government of Canada's participation in major International Scholarship Programs. DFATD provides support to international scholars in Canada, which is often reciprocated by foreign governments which support Canadian scholars in their countries. Canadian Japanese-Mennonite Scholarship - $2000 for graduate students engaged in minority/human rights research. Please click on link above for application details.
Canadian Northern Studies Trust - Various awards from $1,500 - $10,000 offered to students enrolled in full-time post-secondary education that have an aspect of northern or circumpolar fieldwork included as part of their scholastic research that is conducted within the term of the award. Donich Entrepreneurial Scholarship - A $1,000 award will be presented to an undergraduate or law student at the University of Manitoba who is distinguished by work experience and academic achievement. Please click on the link above for application details. Application Deadline: November 30, 2018.

Queen Elizabeth Diamond Jubliee Scholarship Program - Promoting International Community-University Partnerships in Global and Indigenous Health - Scholarship program will provide successful applicants with the opportunity to conduct a 3-6 month international internship in research, as well as receive other training opportunities, networking opportunities and mentorship. The Tyler Lewis Clean Energy Research Grant - was established to provide financial support and promote graduate student research in the field of clean energy at Canadian Universities. Clean energy encompasses energy sources and processes that are an alternative to fossil fuels, with minimizing, neutral or ameliorating consequences on the environment. The objective of the Tyler Lewis Clean Energy Research Grant is to develop research skills and assist in the training of qualified individuals.
