Abstract Submission

Instructions for Authors

Abstracts must be prepared as a Word document (no PDFs) and uploaded onto the CNC website using the link below. Please use the following format for naming your abstract document: LAST-NAME_FIRST-NAME_PRIMARY-KEY-WORD.doc .

Example: SMITH_JOHN_FOLATE.doc

Do not use generic file names (ie: CNC.doc) as these will prove difficult to track.

Abstracts must be no longer than 350 words (including title and affiliations), and subscribe to the following format:

Authors: LAST NAME, INITIALS*, LAST NAME, INITIALS, etc.. with the presenting author identified by an asterisk. Notations may be used to identify author affiliations.
Affiliations: Primary affiliations only.
Body: Text of the abstract. Tables may be used, but they must be included in the word limit.
Key Words: 3-5 key words

Submission of an abstract does not guarantee acceptance. The Program Committee of the Canadian Nutrition Congress reserves the right to refuse acceptance of abstracts on the basis of scientific merit or incomplete submissions. Please note: Abstracts must be stand-alone documents without reference to the future presentation of data, and should represent original work.

Attention Graduate Students! Please ensure that you check the appropriate Society box when indicating that you would like to have your abstract considered for one of the Graduate Student Competitions.
