The Field Education Program provides students with hands-on social work practice experience through field placements. Along with completing field focus courses, students will be placed at an agency under the guidance of a field instructor.
Field placements give students the opportunity to apply theories and concepts learned in the classroom as well as discover various options available to social workers.
Students in both the B.S.W and Pre-M.S.W are required to complete field focus courses and field placement.
Students taking the B.S.W. program through Distance may visit the Distance Delivery Field Education Program page.
