Christopher Leo, who holds a PhD in Political Economy from the University of Toronto, has been researching, teaching and writing, first about African politics, and then urban politics. He has held faculty-level appointments for more than 40 years at the University of Winnipeg – where he is currently Professor Emeritus – as well as the University of Manitoba and Queen’s University.
