Welcome home, Bisons! Homecoming is a time-honoured tradition that brings everyone together to celebrate what it means to be part of the herd at the University of Manitoba. It's a wonderful way to connect both in-person and virtually with our many alumni.

Kick off Homecoming and come watch the UM Bisons play! Don’t forget to join us for the family-friendly tailgate party on the concourse before the game. Lots of fun for all ages!

Campus tour at Homecoming

In-Person Campus Tour

Active Living Centre

This interactive and informative outdoor campus walking tour takes approximately 60 minutes and covers a large section of the Fort Garry campus. Remember comfortable footwear, weather-appropriate attire, and a water bottle!

    St John's College Lunch & Lively Conversation

    Location: Cross Common Room (Room 108), St John’s College
    Fee: $15 for lunch

    Dr Gerald Friesen, distinguished Professor Emeritus of History at UM and retired Fellow of St John’s College will share insights into his new book The Honorable John Norquay. John Norquay (May 8, 1841 – July 5, 1889), fifth premier of Manitoba, served from 1878 to 1887. He was born near St. Andrews in what was then the Red River Colony, making him the first premier of Manitoba to have been born in the region. Norquay was also the first Indigenous Premier of a Canadian province.
