HRIS provides a Human Resource, Staff Benefits and Payroll solution to replace the legacy ER system. It uses the VIP software package, purchased from DLGL, a company based in Montreal. The VIP system encompasses many modules to administer the human resources, benefits and payroll functions at the University. The HRIS project also includes the implementation of a new Pension Management System. This system was purchased from Eckler Partners Ltd., a Nova Scotia based pension consulting firm.
