Indigenous Summer Student Internship

Human Resources is very pleased to launch the Indigenous Summer Student Internship Program for our university community. 

The overall goal of the program is to increase awareness of the wide range of meaningful employment opportunities at the University of Manitoba for our Indigenous university students. The U of M is a great place to work, where Indigenous students can build a career after graduation.

Indigenous U of M students are encouraged to apply. For 2018, there will be 15 summer placements and the deadline to apply is March 29To apply, visit UM Careers and type in 'Indigenous Intern' in the search field. Each position will include the host department, and job details.

Note to departments: Work placements include eight positions that are cost-shared with human resources and seven positions that are fully-funded by departments. All students will participate together in the group programming.
